Temple Roots is a graphic novel currently being created by Peter Kneeshaw.
It began life as an idea for a short animated film about a boy who accidently finds the entrance to a long abandoned temple. But with over 2500 frames in the storyboard and an estimated running time of 1 hour it has grown into something I alone could not produce just yet. So I have begun the process of reducing and editing the frames into what I hope will be a workable graphic novel story line.
It may take some time to finish the project but seeing the start like this fills me with hope.
If you find this page by whatever means I hope you enjoy it.
I did expect to update somewhere like four to five pages a month but that was pie in sky.
I was a 2D/3D artist and illustrator who worked in the computer games industry for 8 years. I then worked freelance for a further 2 years but didn't like it.
I have since settled down and now work at The University of Hull, which is very nice.
I am currently writing and illustrating my first graphic novel a process I am totally unfamiliar with. My aim is to finish it which sounds easy but isn't and may take a while. I think the project will end up around 110 pages.
